Right now the speedometer registers 66262 and these are the original miles. James is almost 80 and is no longer able to work on cars like he used to. Ratherthan see his collection just deteriorate in a building, he would like to sellthem and let someone else enjoy them. But, for a flashy, fun, driver, this car is perfect. It comes with aparade boot as well. I doknow hJames went over the motor and after inspecting the pistons, he can verifythat the miles are indeed original. There is a small dent in one pan underneath,but it does not leak. Otherwise it would have been changed. The car has beendriven a little, just to keep the battery up and keep it from going down hill. The original color was tan, but James had it painted white. Seller's comments and description: 1966 cadillac eldorado biarritz convertible. Top of the line model with all the options. Original black interior with wood door panels, rare bucket seats and center console. It’s been repainted keeping its original firemist red color with metallic flake added. The body is strait and under the car looks like new. The engine is the powerful 429cid - 340hp/480ft-lbs torque and (th400) turbo hydra-matic transmission. The 429 engine installed in the car is not original but it has been rebuilt and is very clean inside and recently inspected. The odometer shows 31,743 miles. 2,250 eldorado convertibles were made in 66. This low #’s car being fully loaded with bucket seats puts production in the low 200's range. This 50 year old classic is extremely rare. It has not been restored and is a survivor that has been stored away and preserved for most of its life. Bucket Seats

Original cowl tag on firewall, Original lube tag in driver's door jamb. Correct Gold Biarritz scripts on fenders, along with gold V's on bonnet and boot. Previously owned in Belgium from 2011 to 2016 (still has Belgium plate). Nice gaps, doors open and close flawlessly, undercarriage and engine bay show age but are still very presentable, very nice older re-paint. This classic of American automotive design is perfect for both the show field and an afternoon of top-down cruising. The Eldorado Biarritz Convertibles were among the most luxurious cars of their day. This 1957 Eldorado Biarritz is one of only 1,800 produced by Cadillac. The coach-crafted body by Fisher, with the revised X-frame architecture, allowed for the convertible to be stretched to 222, making it a true 6-passenger convertible. Powered by a 365ci cast-iron-block V8 engine with five main bearings and hydraulic lifters, allowing for a strong and silent engine, this third generation Eldorado was the first of its kind with a revised rear-end design featuring a low, down-swept fender line capped by a pointed in-board fin. Also seen was the shark style fins pointing toward the back of the cars. These Eldorados were the only Cadillacs possessing the large 365 cubic-inch, 325 horsepower V-8 engines. They are 18 1/2 feet long and weigh almost 5,000 pounds. This one has a host of factory options including power windows, power locks, power steering and parade boot.
