Low mile rust free original survivor. A little history on the car. Very rare 1965 production date 3 gauge 5 speed near mint 912. The car still has its original license plates that now have collector tabs on them. I bought this car from the original owner. The car had been sitting in the back of his shop on jack stands with a car cover over it before i bought it. It was emotional for the owner and his wife to sell the car as he bought it brand new of the lot in 1966 when they both were in college. He had stored for the last 25 years in a heated garage on jack stands before i bought it. The car has always been garaged since it was new. The 912 is all original except for a repaint and new interior carpet. The car is in near mint original condition. I completely went through all systems of the car that would have been affected by its long term storage. No expense or amount of labor invested was spared. The top end was rebuilt before it was stored in 1988 by the original owner. A new clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing wear installed at the time of the top end rebuild. I had my mechanic do a compression check when i bought the car. I had the gas tank removed and professionally cleaned. All new fuel lines were installed. The original carbs were completely rebuilt. The wheel bearings were greased front and rear. Gold line is the best in the business when it comes to rebuilding brakes. New rubber brake lines, master cylinder, and brake pads were installed. The rotors were machined and wheel bearings were all inspected and greased along with new wheel seals front and rear. I had the original generator rebuilt by art's electric. I replaced the original voltage regulator recently as well. New shift rod bushings and shift coupler. I use only non ethanol gas in the car. The car runs, drives, stops like new. The car still has its correct michelin xzx 165 sr 15 inch tires with tubes. I was told by a porsche tech they are original, how ever i have not confirmed that. The original wheels are in perfect condition including the spare. The spare tire still has never been used as it still has the original nubs on the tire. I have the original tool kit and jack that goes with the car. The interior is in mint condition. I had the original seat padding replaced with exact reproduction seat cushions by sierra madre. The rare original cloth insert seat upholstery were reinstalled over the new seat cushions. The original rubber mats are excellent. Perfect dash, headliner, door panels, interior panels, ect, ect.. I did replace the carpet and trunk carpet with reproduction carpeting in the correct color bought from pelican parts. The car has had one very high quality repaint some time in the 80's in the correct color of polo red. I just rebuilt the wiper system / linkage with all new brass and plastic bushings. The car is pristine. The car has no rust or accident history do to the meticulous care of the original owner. The car has been garaged its whole life by the original owner and my self. The door and body gaps are perfect. The body is arrow strait. The doors shut with the distinctive "porsche ping". The undercarriage is spotless, factory undercoating is excellent... Do to the car being garaged it is as rust free as they come. The porsche runs and drives perfect. All work listed was professionally done with receipts for documentation. This car has been a part of my car collection for many years. This is a investment grade example of a mint original 912, the nicest i have ever seen. I am considering selling my car to the next care taker as i have acquired new cars for my collection and am running out of space. I have all receipts for all of the work that has been listed in this description. 100% og except for 1 repaint and new carpetnumbers matching motor, trans, carbs, generator, ect, ect. 1 ownergaraged since newog radio and speaker (works great)original owners manual rare cloth inserts option on front seatsrare 3 gauge 5 speed4 screw horn grillstime capsule, still has correct tires and tubes in good conditionnew carpet through outnew seat padding (original covers)mint original interiornew alignmentfront and rear wheel seals, fuel filter, cap, rotor, points, wires, plugs, air filters,ect. 1969 Porsche 912 comes with 912 transmission but no engine present all plumbing and wiring is in tach. Some areas that we found rust were front right fender bottom under rear left torsion tube will need a patch and previous patch on passenger side and front gas tank support. this is a great restoration project for someone building a 912 or 911 engined long wheel base long hood sunroof coupe clean title comes with factory fuch wheels factory steel fenders hood decklid quarter panels and doors are in good shape minus the right front fender has some rust on the bottom (fixable) with a patch roof is in good overall condition front S style bumper fiberglass Sunroof/Moonroof

Very rare original color of copper brown metallic. Only 67,000 miles since new, this car has always been pampered and carefully maintained. All original interior with the exception of the front seats which have been redone. Very clean with no smells or major flaws whatsoever. Dash and gauges look like new. Get in early on the 912 market and enjoy the classic 911 lines with a peppy engine and even better handling. The lower and more central mass of the engine on the 912 makes it a more eager companion on twisting back roads, while still providing all of the classic thrills of vintage porsche ownership. It also has the highly-desirable five-gauge dash configuration found on the 911, rather than the three-gauge setup on many 912s. The carpet is in great shape (with no rust underneath) and the dash has no cracking or pealing. All of the dash lighting works, as well as the exterior lights. At some point, according to the previous owner, the 912 has been repainted in it's original color - ossi blue. In person, it is incredible to behold: deep and rich in tone, while absorbing and reflecting the natural colors around it. Pictures can't do it justice! When i bought the car, it was running slightly rough, but a trip to my local aircooled porsche specialist fixed that! I would honestly say the engine is the high point for the car. Everything has been gone through in meticulous detail to make this a strong-running and reliable 912. It may take a few seconds to crank over in the cold, but it always starts and has never left me stranded in a parking lot over the time i've owned it. After its most recent trip to the mechanic earlier this year, the car hasn't leaked a single drop of oil. Most aircooled cars will lose a few drops a day, but for some reason i got lucky with this one.
