This car had a calif./ oregon history and no rust. Theengine was rebuilt with big bore kit, per the previous owner, and one repaint byhim. I decided to sand blast the fenders, hood, trunk, spare tire panel,everything except the tub (see pictures), and paint the car in base coat clearcoat, much better than the old enamel paint. The car was in remarkable shape,even underneath, like new. I painted the floors with por 15, and applied soundproofing before replacing the carpet and interior. The top and side curtains arein great condition as seen in photos. It has mini lite wheels and new tires, aswell as the original wheels and hub caps. New Plugs AndPlug Wires Rotor And Cap. all Rubber Gas Hoses Are New. replaced Oil AndFilter. new Seat Covers, New Door And Rear Panels. new Fuel Pump And Filter. theGas Tank Was Coated In 2009. After I Purchased The Car In 2012 Most EverythingThat Was Rubber Or Cloth Had Dried Up Or Rotted. After Repairing Or ReplacingAll Damaged Areas, The Car Was As Close To Brand New As It Could Be. I EnteredThe Car In The "world Of Wheels" Two Years In A Row And It Received 1st BothYears. I Also Entered It In The "british European Show" In Townsend And ItReceived 1st In The Gt-6 Spitfire Class. I Have Owned British Cars Since 1975Including Six (6) Spitfires. This Car Is By Far The Finest I Have Ever Owned.
